Computerized and biometric time clock systems

Computerized time clock is a time of employee system suitable for most organisations monitoring. Collects a computerized time clock employee Punch (time in) and Punch OUT (time out) information and combines and it collects in the management reports. These reports are generally used to generate the information necessary to produce payroll.

Computerized time clock systems are available in capacities and different configurations, so you can build a system to match the size of your organization.

The system consists of one or more punched card or access units combined with software that runs on a PC ordinary or another computer system (UNIX, LINUX, etc.).

Perforated card or access units to collect employee Punch in (time in) and Punch OUT (time out) of data and spend on the computer, where it is used to generate management reports and, potentially, mass pay. Used in conjunction with components create a computerized system clock.

The main advantage of these systems is that once implemented, they automatically collect all information from the employee in a central computer (typically a standard PC) and then discusses the reports.

Features vary between systems, but will include a good range of management reports to meet the needs of your organization holiday, overtime, change and policies of the pay period.

You can purchase an entry-level computer clock system allowing employees to Punch in and somewhere, or a network version where employees can Punch in and out at several locations.

Data collection can be accomplished by various means, including traditional clocks, time, systems of Tower of custody and access badges-activated control systems or proximity cards and date stamps.

You can also buy clock computerized systems that support of biometric registration systems newer like finger, hand and subcutaneous; fingerprint readers proximity, code bars and magnetic and even tape drives phone (from speech recognition).

You expect to find the following types of reports of a computerized system clock.

-Card employee report

-Who is IN, which is related

-Hours worked summary

-Report travel

-Report vacation

-Card approval

-Overtime approach

-Daily totals by employee

-Report by employee profiles

Need a PC configuration:

-Intel Pentium II 400 mhz or higher with a Minimum of 128 MB of memory (more modern Note PC uses a Pentium IV with 256 MB memory)

-CD-ROM drive

-At least 256 SVGA video

-150 MB of available disk space

-Windows 98SE/2000/2003-Server/NT4.0 (SP6a) /XP

Some software also runs on larger systems using UNIX or LINUX.
